About 50 years ago as a proffesinal engineer I replaced my slide rule with an HP 11 calculator. The HP11 doesn’t replace a regular desk top computer but in the field it was invaluable. It had a long life but it finally broke down . I purchased the Dm 11l to replace it and found it to be a copy of my old HP11 only better. It has a titanium shell and very clear printed keys. It uses Revverse Polish Notion which I like. For example if you wanted the tangent of 80 degrees you would set the calculator on degrees enter 80 and press tangent. I’m been retired for many years now but I still use it to track my finances. Occasionly to check a land survey. Or to figure for a friend monthly payments on a morgage or car loan. I have a progam setup for that.The calculator is better then my old one but there are two minor things that could be better. In order to change the battery you have to remove some screws one open the case while the old one Hadassah small door to open without exposing the inside of the calculator to the outside but as the battery should last 5 years not much of a one. The other one is the carryingcase is so tight I have trouble getting it out but this should loosen with time. Over all I an very pleased with it.
