As a life time user of the Hp32SII especially during my electrical engineering studies in the eighties the DM32 runs my old programs seemingly instantaneously. DM is used in situations were it is more convenient to run calculations right then and then and there than going to a PC or notebook computer. It is expensive, so it only makes sense when you have programs for the HP32SII that you still use often and is to much work to port to a iPad or iPhone. The perceived quality is high.
The stack always keeps the next to last value (Y register) even when it should fall/flow down into the "X" register. This clutters up the display. Also, mine arrived with a VERY large "chunk" of dust under the screen. The mfg was no help and stopped responding to emails. Other than that... it's a very good unit, and the only way to get a new copy of the HP originals.
The DM32 is of the highest quality. It has more memory and calculates faster than the HP32SII. I love my DM32!
